The Property and Evidence Unit is responsible for holding all evidence, safekeeping property, and found property for both the Ada County Sheriff's Office and Boise City Police.

To claim found property, proof of ownership must first be established by a law enforcement officer.

Property being held as evidence can only be released by an officer, prosecutor or judge.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Bikes:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sheriff's Auction of Seized Property:
All Sheriff's auctions are held at Trucks and Auto Auctions in Nampa.
Proceeds go to the Ada County Sheriff's Office. The next auction is scheduled for June 21st, 2008.
