ACSO participates in National Night Out
Tuesday, Aug. 2
4:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Members of the ACSO including Sheriff Gary Raney, detectives, patrol deputies, K9 deputies, SWAT Team members and McGruff the Crime Dog will be out Tuesday visiting neighborhoods during National Night Out.
NNO kicks off at 4:30 p.m. at Applebee's at Eagle Road/Fairview Road. There will be several people from various law enforcement agencies there before heading out to visit with folks at the separate events all over Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna and unincorporated Ada County.
Below is a list of areas in Ada County patrol areas that have let us know they have events planned. The contact numbers are included for your planning purposes and are not to be released to the public. If you need any help coordinating interviews, live shots, etc., let me know!
Hidden Springs
Various areas of Hidden Springs community
6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Participants expected: 200
There will be various activities and games planned for nearly a dozen different locations within Hidden Springs
Hillsdale Estates
Hillsdale Estates Park at corner of Deep Canyon/Star Ridge
4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Participants expected: 300
Kids activities, waterslide, jumping house, climbing wall, picnic and live band
Mary Glen #1 & #2
John & Maggie Larson's Home, 10420 W. Jay Road
7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Ice cream social, water balloon toss
Homestead Subdivision
Community Park on Golden Eagle Lane in Eagle (next to the Eagle Police substation)

Watermelon feed (and usually an impromptu seed-spittin’ contest)
